In view of the particular health situation linked to COVID-19, EPFL was obliged to introduce a number of strict measures that prevented associations from offering welcome and reception drinks. Our association was also affected by these new regulations, and we were unable to offer our customary "Apéro Master" event. We therefore decided to design a new event to enable new and old students to see their friends and meet the newcomers to our Faculty.

And so our Faculty saw the birth of "Hello World - The IC Welcome Games"! More than 150 students gathered on Thursday, October 15, 2020, from 2pm to 8pm in the BC hall to take part in the many activities on offer. Each student had the opportunity to participate alone or in a team (max. 3 members) with the aim of collecting as many points as possible and possibly winning one of our many prizes! As we could only accommodate a maximum of 100 people in this venue, we proposed registration for one of three time slots: 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm or 6pm-8pm.

Werewolf, Mario Kart, Just Dance, Price is Right, Darts, Burger Quiz, Bike Race and Game Design - a host of booths were set up just for our students by CLIC and its Game*, Orbital Game Jam and IC Travel committees.
