Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que la CLIC, en partenariat avec Jane Street, organise un événement qui risque d’intéresser plus d’un.e d’entre vous !

Le 6 octobre de 17h à 20h, retrouvez-nous en CO2 pour :

  • 17:00-18:00 un Tech Talk intitulé “One log to rule them all: “How to keep state straight in distributed systems” par Bertram Mueller. Il expliquera comment les journaux de transactions, la réplication des automates et les inversions de flux de contrôle aident à apporter cohésion et régularité à un système, et comment Jane Street a utilisé Aria pour faire évoluer son infrastructure de trading. ⏱️

  • 18:00-19:00 un Estimathon Game, un jeu en équipe qui consiste à résoudre des problèmes d'estimation, puis se finira par un temps pour échanger avec des ingénieurs et des traders de Jane Street.

  • 19:00-20:00 pizzaaaaas (c’est gratuit et il y en aura pour tout le monde 🍕)

We are pleased to announce that CLIC, in partnership with Jane Street, is organising an event that may interest many of you!

On 6 October from 5 to 8 pm, join us in CO2 for :

  • 17:00-18:00 a Tech Talk entitled "One log to rule them all: “How to keep state straight in distributed systems" by Berrtam Mueller who will explain how transaction logs, state machine replication control-flow inversions help to bring cohesion and regularity to a system, and how Jane Street has used Aria scale its trading infrastructure. ⏱️

  • 18:00-19:00 an Estimathon Game, a team game that consists of solving estimation problems, and will end with a time to chat with software engineers and traders of Jane Street.

  • 19:00-20:00 pizzaaaaas (it's free and there will be some for everyone 🍕)
