Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que Jane Street vient sur le campus de l’EPFL pour organiser un événement qui risque d’intéresser plus d’un.e d’entre vous !

Le 10 mars de 18h à 21h à la salle polyvalente CE, l’entreprise de trading prévoit deux événements :

  • 18:00-19:00 un Tech Talk intitulé “Algorithmic challenges in build systems and incremental computation” par Andrey Mokhov de Jane Street qui essaye d’améliorer l'efficacité des systèmes de compilation de projet. ⏱️

  • 19:00-20:00 un Estimathon Game, un jeu en équipe qui consiste à résoudre des problèmes d'estimation, puis se finira par un temps pour échanger avec des traders, ingénieurs logiciel ou recruteurs de Jane Street.

  • 20:00-21:00 pizzaaaaas (c’est gratuit et il y en aura pour tout le monde 🍕)

VERSION FRANCAISE AU DESSUS

We are pleased to announce that Jane Street is coming to the EPFL campus to organise an event that might interest many of you!

On March 10th from 6pm to 8pm at the CE hall, the trading company is planning two events:

  • 6pm-7pm a Tech Talk entitled "Algorithmic challenges in build systems and incremental computation" by Andrey Mokhov who works at Jane Street trying to improve the efficiency of project build systems. ⏱️

  • 7pm-8pm an Estimathon Game, a team game that consists of solving estimation problems, and will end with a time to chat with traders, software engineers or recruiters from Jane Street.

  • 8pm-9pm pizzaaaaas (it's free and there will be some for everyone 🍕)
