Welcome to the design contest for the IC faculty hoodies! Here are the rules :

• You have to submit two designs: One for the front (a small one), and the other for the back (a bigger one). See the previous designs below 😊
• You have to submit your designs in two separate .svg (or other vectorial formats) files (i.e. : NOT PNG OR JPEG)
• It should mostly use black and white. The goal is to be able to change your design color to be able to fit the hoodies' colors (and also because black and white are the best pokemon games)
• You should only submit .svg files (vector graphics: saving a raster image in .svg does not work)
• The idea is to have a hoodie with a small logo on the chest and a bigger image on your back! Both of them will be embroidered ("brodé" in french). In short: it will be similar to the previous years. If you want to see what it looks like in real life, visit us in INN132 😊
• Did we tell you that you had to submit only .svg files?

Joke aside, why are we asking absolutely for vectorial designs? Simply because that's the format the hoodie producers will be asking for. How can you do that? We encourage you to use Inkscape: Inkscape. It is a free, open source and pretty complete software that allows you to do vectorial drawings. You can also convert a png, jpeg, or other images into a vectorial format (do you remember .svg ?) (Tutorial).

You have until 20th of November 23h59 to submit your design. After this date, we will open the votes: every IC-student will be able to choose the winner. The winner will have their hoodie for free !

You can participate in groups. However, this doesn't duplicate the prizes (i.e., you will only get one free hoodie for the entire group).

To submit your designs, just send an email to logistique.clic@epfl.ch with a .zip file containing your two .svg files (😠), and don't hesitate to give us your artist account if you want us to promote it.
