Google Hash Code 2020

Hash Code is a team programming competition organized by Google for students and professionals from all over the world. You choose your team and your programming language, and Google chooses an engineering problem for you to solve.

It all starts with an online qualification round on Thursday, February 20 from 17:30 to 21:30 UTC (i.e. from 18:30 to 22:30). Whether you've just started coding or have been competing in programming competitions for years, Hash Code is a great opportunity to practice your coding skills, meet other developers and have some fun. The top teams from the online qualifying round will be invited to the global finals, hosted at Google in Ireland in Dublin in April, to compete for cash prizes and the title of Hash Code 2020 champion.

EPFL was one of the hubs for this event, and CLIC hosted it in the BC Hall from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Snacks and beverages were distributed throughout the event to ensure a good spirit and exceptional concentration from our participants.

Numerous photos were also taken throughout the evening by Marine Bossanne. The photo album was on our now-deleted Facebook page. Contact us if you would like to see these photos.
